About Research Training and Career Development: Overview

On this page:

Introduction

NCCAM is committed to providing funding for high quality research training and career development opportunities. NCCAM's overall goals are to increase the number, quality, and diversity of CAM researchers.

We will provide awards to

  • Predoctoral and postdoctoral students who are interested in pursuing a career in CAM research.
  • CAM practitioners, so they may gain the knowledge and experience to conduct rigorous research in their field.
  • Conventional medical researchers and practitioners, so they may increase their knowledge and experience in specific CAM research areas.
  • Members of populations who are underrepresented in scientific research and are interested in careers in CAM research.
