Dr. Chantal Villemure will conduct research in neuroscience and pain. This research will focus on the modulation of pain by cognitive factors (such as attentional state); emotional factors; and mind-body therapies (such as yoga-based interventions) using psychophysical and brain imaging techniques.
Dr. Villemure was previously a research associate at the Alan-Edwards Centre for Research on Pain, McGill University, and also a coordinator for the Human Models Platform of the Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN).
