Ms. April Le will work in the Intramural Division developing research questions and animal models to study how chronic pain affects the brain. This includes contributing to experiments, data analysis, and presenting data. In a previous position at the Laboratory of Genetics at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Ms. Le conducted animal behavior work. She has also conducted research in drug discovery and development in the department of Neuroscience at Amgen, Incorporated.

Ms. Le double-majored in cognitive neuroscience and psychology at the University of California in San Diego. She also holds a master’s in pharmacology from the University of Oxford.
