NCCAM Strategic Plan: 2010

NCCAM is developing its third long-range, strategic vision. It will provide guideposts for future scientific direction, a useful framework for priority setting, and continue the internal efforts to advance the organization.

Opportunities for Public Input

Over the course of the next year, NCCAM will seek input from its stakeholders through many different channels, including both in-person and Web-based meetings and workshops and through other online vehicles. We particularly encourage input from the public and will be offering several opportunities for people to contribute their thoughts and feedback. Wellness Workshop

This 1-day workshop reviewed several measures of wellness, identified their strengths and weaknesses, and made recommendations on how best to measure wellness. This information will help NCCAM guide development of questions for the 2012 National Health Interview Survey.

Blue Ribbon Intramural Research Strategic Planning Panel Report at NCCAM Advisory Council Meeting

As the first step in NCCAM's third strategic planning process, Dr. Briggs appointed the Blue Ribbon Intramural Research Strategic Planning Panel to present a report to Council and the Center regarding future directions for the IRP. The report was presented at the June 5, 2009 NCCAM Advisory Council meeting.
